I ordered a $600 Christmas tree on a Sunday night. Less than twelve hours later, I got an email telling me about Christmas Central`s 20% off all tree sales.

When I called they refused to give me the 20% off, refused to allow me to cancel my order, even though it had not shipped, and told me if I returned it I would be subject to a 20% restocking charge. I should have known better than to deal with a company that will not allow to cancel your order the moment you place it, which is pretty much unheard of these days in the world of e-commerce.

Plus the bolts for the base are missing, and the box looks like it went through a shredder. Nerver again will I shop at Christmas Central.

Monetary Loss: $600.
